No, I'm stuck with the way everyone I've ever heard say it aloud has ever said it literally every single time it's ever been uttered, which not coincidentally makes the most phonetic sense as well. Well then you're stuck with a mistake which resulted from a lack of research, and you're just following ignorant sheep. First time the name is said in a Batman production, in an episode written by the character's co-creator

Hush now, gowpenful-o'-anything. Yet another exchange in which you come across like the inside of an unwashed asshole. You need to stop hitting the lubberwort so hard.

Presumably someone says, "It's actually pronounced Reysh, derp derp..." I don't give a shit. This information has no bearing on anything, and I've already wiped it from my mind and all my thoughts and memories of RHAS AL GHOUL.

No, no one says it's pronounced Reysh in the video, it's just Reysh introducing himself normally, like he'd only ever heard his name pronounced one way, his way. Isn't it weird that writers can create a character with a certain pronunciation of his name in mind, have the character come to life in an animated series, have characters say it the way they always intended for years, then more than a decade later, someone forgets to do their homework when adapting the character and suddenly people are saying the name differently than it had always been said?

Not particularly. It's more trivial than anything else.

My opinion is that "weird' is not an apt description, for the second time now. Random, incidental, trivial, etc., are all more fitting.

Unprecedented? I mean...it's pretty clear Nolan/Goyer didn't look into the pronunciation and just used the first way that came to mind. A couple Batman productions (Batman Beyond, Arkham Knight) have even specifically pointed out that Rahs is wrong and Reysh is right.

Good grief, you're the winner dude. Congratulations. Well I was hoping we'd both win, but I suppose I'll take it. Don't worry, you didn't. I'm still saying Rozz.

primeone Why do you say it that wrong way? @zackbop What's the difference between ah and aw? Semi-related, do you pronounce pin and pen the same? A lot of people do, basically this You'd pronounce "Roz(z)" like "Rawz"??
