Who'd be your DPS? Who'd be your tanks? Your healers? Crowd Control?
Who'd fall under the typical categories of sorcerer, rogue/assassin, ranger, paladin/knight, warrior/barbarian, etc.?
If you were to create a 4-man team, who'd be your members?

I don't know what some of these of things mean. Though can you pick any characters? Like Thor and Hela?

You mean like it's League of Legends?
Thor would be solo top as a melee fighter, Iron Man solo middle, maybe Black Widow could jungle and Captain America could do the bottom lane as a fighter with Scarlet Witch doubling as a healer and mage.
Or Thor on the bottom with Scarlet Witch as healer, Hulk and Iron Man on top with Iron Man being the AD carry and Captain America could be in the middle.
Or take the above, switch it around so Iron Man and Scarlet Witch are on the bottom lane, him doing AD carry and her doing support. Cap and Hulk on top and Hulk would tank, and Thor doing a Tryndamere thing.
Now I see 4 man team

Maybe something like:
Thor - power, endurance, defence Loki - magic, cunning/theft, ability to use most any weapon or spell Dr. Strange - magic, protection, healing, spells Hawkeye - highest weapons efficiency

I don't know what some of these of things mean. Though can you pick any characters? Like Thor and Hela? A DPS character is someone with a very high damage output. The job of the DPS in the team is to kill their opponent as fast as possible with their attacks. A Tank is usually an extremely tough character but not necessarily a high-damage one. Someone who can take a lot of damage/punishment. Their main job is to grab the attention of their opponent/s, allowing themselves to be the main target, then tank the attacks of their opponent while their teammates try to finish off the opponent. A healer is just that, someone who tries to keep the team alive. Usually that means healing the team, deflecting or shielding your team from attacks, increasing the defense of your team, etc. A CC character (crowd control) is one who sows chaos and confusion among the enemy to make it easier for the team to fight them. Some of the more usual tactics involve creating illusions, creating traps that lockdown enemies, confusing enemies to attack each other, or even just massive sorcery to lower the defenses or attack strength of the enemies. Anything to make the enemy less efficient. In a 4-man team, ideally you'd like to have one of each. In a 5-man team you'd probably want 2 DPS (one melee and one long range) and then 1 of each of the others. If you get characters who can fill in more than one role the better. So a tank who also has high DPS is great. Or a healer who can also crowd control. Etc. Feel free to choose any character you want in the MCU as long as the grouping makes sense (i.e. they should be able to work together).

Captain Marvel is a paladin. Shuri is a white mage. Thor is a storm mage*. Scarlet Witch is a black mage. I guess that would be one of the OP set ups.
*Didn't know what to classify Thor as. Had to look up magic fighters and found battle mage in this rpg (Heroica rpg). Front line fighters that use magic.

Don't know if he means video game or table top, but if a VG, probably would keep villains out of the line up unless they are meant to be there for a betrayal (Loki) in the story. Hela would most likely be a boss fight. heh
