A number of viruses and sicknesses are literally named after their place of origin (lyme disease, noro virus, west Nile virus, etc). Trump, who I can't stand and is a disgusting racist, referred to it as the China Virus and has been getting flack because it appears he's proud to have an instance to insult a group that is non-American but in reality, is it wrong to refer to this as the China virus? yeah hes very ignorant so yep.

He was not calling the virus a 'hoax'. He was calling the Dems criticisms of him a hoax.
And I agree with him.
He implemented a travel ban and the Dems criticized him for it. It was the right move.
Bernie said he would not ever implement such a travel ban. I mean that is just insane. He said that not long ago, too.
Biden was quick to call it xenophobic. That was late January.
And Trump has had to respond daily with the unfolding of the outbreak.
Not always the best, but I would hate to think what it would look like today if he hadn't implemented those travel bans.
I feel like I have to support Trump simply because these constant attacks on him are so completely overblown.
Russian collusion based on the most faulty dossier the FBI should have dismissed immediately and let to two years wasted.
Then Ukraine and then impeachment over nothing.
And now this.

Where ? Definitely not in Australia, New Zealand, or the UK - and I’ve never heard a “world official” call it anything other than CoronaVirus or COVID-19. The only world media, and world official I’ve heard say it is American, and specifically Trump. Why ? Fits his narrative perfectly doesn’t it. USA = Good, China = Bad. Just don’t mention Russia. ABC News isn't Australia?
I’ve just spent 10 minutes searching the ABC News website, and can’t find it ONCE described as “The China Virus”. CoronaVirus or COVID-19, every single time. Unless you can provide links to MULTIPLE times anybody outside the US calls it that, I think you are full of shit.

No where in the video I heard the term China Virus being referred. If you believe the word Wuhan has same implication or cultural significance as "China" then I can do nothing about that. Or if the motivation of using both terms are the same.

So you had to trawl through the Internet to find a news report from JANUARY when the spread of the CoronaVirus was about as far as - wait for it - WUHAN. This is completely disingenuous, but what else to expect from a conservative American. Anything anyone has said ever is used forever, but your glorious leader can sprout any contradictory bullshit and you swallow it like ice cream. Less than a month ago, Trump was saying that this wouldn’t affect the USA and that heat kills it. Changed his tune now, hasn’t he ? Anyway, Give an example, in the timeframe since Trump called it “The China Virus” which was about a week ago but I’ll give you 10 days, and provide a link to a reputable news source outside the USA or a leading Medical or Governmental agency calling it China Virus, Wuhan Virus or Chinese Flu that is time stamped March 13 or later. And not when it was contained wholly within Wuhan or China.
