There are quite a few 'one-off' episodes that stand out to me, but probably the most recent one I watched was from Season 1 of The Haunting of Hill House. Episode 6: 'Two Storms' Listening to the DVD commentary for the episode explained just how complicated the process of making it was. All the work put into it clearly paid off, as I found this to be one of the most compelling hours of TV I’ve watched in quite some time. Some interesting trivia taken from the IMDB page for the episode: "The first 15:38 minutes of this episode (excluding the beginning one minute and 20 seconds beginning credits sequence) were done in one straight take, as with most of the scenes throughout the entire episode. No edits. No cuts." "During the filming of the first season, production was halted for a month in order to prepare for the continuous long takes throughout this episode. During this break, stand-in actors walked through the entire script on set repeatedly, so that the crew could confidently remember the blocking, lighting and camera choreography needed while filming the takes."

an episode which focuses on an specific character or event for an entire episode. I think I understand, so I'll give it a shot: -CHARMED - MORALITY BITES. -COUPLING - NIGHTLINES. -DEXTER'S LAB - DEXTER AND COMPUTRESS GET MANDARK. -INVADER ZIM - MYSTERIOUS MYSTERIES. -LOST - THE CONSTANT. -MAN SEEKING WOMAN - TEACUP / TINSEL. -POWER RANGERS - DR. K.

I love the season four episode of Perfect Strangers named College Bound. While Larry and the girls are waiting for Balki to come home from taking his college entrance exam, they reminisce about how things have gone for Balki so far since his coming to America.
God bless you always!!!

LOST is a tricky one, since every episode focuses mostly on 1 or 2 characters (and their flashbacks). I chose THE CONSTANT earlier since the flashbacks (if you can even call them that) are longer than usual, so Desmond is present in every scene. Why do you feel GREATEST HITS is also different than other episodes?

The X-Files episode Jose Chung's From Outer Space was not only the best X-Files episode it's the best television episode of any show period. It's so brilliant it transcends television.

Why do you feel GREATEST HITS is also different than other episodes? What made it different was the focus on Charlie, essentially it was a goodbye to one of the most flawed yet grounded characters in the series. The conclusion of his story carried the heaviest emotional punch, for me anyway.

Charlie always felt relatable to me, A guy who has been led to believe hes worthless from others within his life. and as such responds that way.
