Just curious how everyone is holding up and how your lifestyles are affected, as I'm assuming different countries are implementing different regulations.

Miserable. Line cooks don't work from home. My restaurant's closed. At least we went down properly, voluntarily and courteously, but closed nonetheless. I've barely slept or eaten. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've bought anything. I don't even feel like I'm living in the same time stream.
I'm a brain. I need food for thought. I live with dealing with the kitchen. On a good day, I'm a cook, a diplomat, a therapist, liaison, organizer, leader, follower all in the same shift. It's the chaos I live for. I'm in withdrawal of not being part of a team. So many people work from home now, if they didn't before. How? I'm glad they can, but what does one do to allow them to just shift the work to their home? There's so much I don't understand.
I live in Toronto, Canada. I think we're doing okay, but I still hear things. I'm in a Food and Drink navigation group and someone was saying their landlord os trying to kick them out. What's worse is the landlord doesn't even seem to know there's a pandemic going on, so it's business as usual. It's March 21. What do you say to a guy who doesn't know what's going on? Sports are cancelled, schools, libraries, rec centers; it's all over the news on every channel. How is it possible to not know what's going on right now?
To put it mildly, I'm not a fan.

Stopped going in to the office that I consult at and just work from home. Same hours so not that big a deal. I have got a little cabin fever today so walked my property to the creek and fished a bit.

Slightly more unusual than usual. Still people out doing things. It's just that there are less of them out doing the same things they have always done. I got to watch a few celebrities Tweet their time while in self-isolation. They looked like they were having a little fun and making the best of the situation as possible.

I get to work from home now which helps save me travel time I used to spend going to work.
Need to cook a lot more though. Biggest blow to our family is it took out our extra curricular activities. No more gym workouts for our family, no more hiking trips, no more martial arts classes, etc. Mostly we're stuck at home just binge watching or playing Elder Scrolls.

Gives me time to sketch and complete challenges on Modern Warfare. Personally sucks, though. Couple weeks ago was seconds from falling into depression until a friend randomly texts me. Realized I really needed a "cheerleader" in my life. Was about to talk to this woman at work so we can start getting to know each other. Now I finally get to talk to her and life gives me a psyche! No work for you. lol

I'm from Vancouver. I've been seeing all these restaurants shut down and wondering just how bad it must be for the owners and staff. There really isn't any way for them to make this "work from home" thing work. You have my sympathy.

It's more or less the same. I have my personal laptop to read and blog with. I have a television and some rented Blu-Rays and DVDs to watch. I won't be doing much driving now, which is good, so I can save money on fuel. Today is my last day to go to work before we are closed for two weeks.

There really isn't any way for them to make this "work from home" thing work. You have my sympathy. Thank you I really appreciate that. Yeah my brain is rotting without tasks to juggle. I need agendas and orders. I hope all's going well with you too. I think it's really cool and special you do things as a family. My family used to do that. We did family walks, board games, movies. I still have emotional memories back then of feeling like nothing else mattered. It was wonderful. I was aware really early that I loved it.
Take care. I'll be around.

Just eyeballing each other at the moment and some light conversations (most of it is her finding random things to come get me for and talk about it).

I usually don’t go out often, other than to school, so more or less the same. I’ll certainly be taking advantage this week by binging more movies.

I watched Endgame which is quite crappy tbh. I saw it in the cinema but it seemed a little better but once you’ve seen it, it doesn’t have much replay value.
I’m halfway through Dark Phoenix and like that better so far.
Nothing has changed for me really. Toilet paper is hard to come by but I haven’t run out yet.

Up until this weekend it hadn't changed much at all, as I live alone so it's not as though I feel cut off. But St. Louis city and county issued a "shelter in place" order yesterday, so even though my employer is a telecommunications company and we've been deemed essential, I'm only working mornings for the foreseeable future. At least I'm salaried, so my pay won't be affected. But we've been told that office and warehouse workers aren't permitted outside their work areas (in other words, if you're in the office, you can't go into the warehouse, and vice-versa), so that just adds to the surreal nature of all this. They've removed any sense of normalcy we might have still had by being able to see our friends at work.
