I was able to get the groceries I needed this past week so doing a lot better. Unfortunately there's been talking about my state going into lockdown. So it's going to be interesting to see how things go from here.

I'm not going out at all due to the pandemic. Other than that, my lifestyle hasn't changed all that much.

I’m going to be totally honest. On March 1st I entered an inpatient rehab program for alcoholism. That was right before all this started. We weren’t allowed to watch regular TV, including the news, only movies on DVD. So I didn’t even get to see these events unfold. We were given small updates here and there but we really didn’t know how severe it was until we completed the program and left. So we were all unofficially quarantined anyways. Surprisingly, being in a closed off wing of the hospital with wildly prepared staff and hand sanitizer on every wall was a damn safe place to be.
I only just left yesterday and was surprised by how crazy everything had gotten. I lived in New Jersey and there was a curfew, the grocery stores were wiped out, and the streets were empty and eerie. I am now in a recovery house in Pennsylvania where it hasn’t hit as hard. People are still working and there is no curfew. So my pandemic lifestyle has really only just begun.

It sucks.
Right before all of this started, I was extremely busy, but having the best time of my life after crawling out of a pretty terrible year. An unprecedented turnaround in all honesty.
So of course a pandemic comes to ruin that lol. Just my luck.

So of course a pandemic comes to ruin that lol. Just my luck. Yeah, I hear you. The past year has been a bit tough for us financially and we had a few things scheduled in May that would have helped us out quite a bit... but now those plans are scrapped or at least put on indefinite hold. This pandemic is definitely a wrench thrown in the plans.

This pandemic is definitely a wrench thrown in the plans. Isn't it the worst? The hope is that we could see a real economic explosion come around July, though. I've seen some pretty bleak predictions for the foreseeable future, but I've also seen some predict that we can rebound pretty efficiently since this will essentially be a self-inflicted recession (bordering on a depression). Hopefully that's the case and we can be back to normal before too long.

Hasnt really changed. I work in an essential field. Still going to work from 8am to 5pm. We do use a lot of hand sanitizer and washing our hands after every transaction. Also disposable gloves for anything a customer wants to hand us. Phones very busy, walk in customers are down a little bit. Weekends I stay in more, but I have Disney+ so I can always find something to watch.
