Tonight I watched The Humanity Bureau and it reminded me of a dystopian overpopulation movie of the 70s, that was not Z.P.G.
The wife was pregnant and she had already had a baby that had died or something, so they weren't allowed to have another. So they work their way to Canada, trying to avoid the government along the way.
I could have sworn I had asked about this before, but I'm not finding it in the list of my posts.
I hope this sounds familiar to someone. Thanks.

It definitely was not that. It was American and it was just the two of them escaping, not a family.

I managed to go through both those lists, and no, none of them.

I managed to go through both those lists, and no, none of them. So, it's NOT Fortress (1992)?

No, I saw this on TV in the middle of the afternoon back in the early 80s.
