Because this game hurts butts, let's make a thing out of it. These movies have absolutely nothing in common but their name, but tell me which you like more anyway: the Sam Raimi supernatural thriller, or the Joel Edgerton stalker drama.

I like both though.

I like the Raimi one, but I love the Edgerton one. Shame it seems kinda forgotten already. Was hoping it'd gain a cult following.

The Gift (2000)
Giovanni Ribisi is outstanding in this one.
I would've sworn I already voted on this. I guess it was another thread.

I often drug my bullies' wives and rape them and get them pregnant with my children to show how badass I am.

Haven’t seen the 2000 one so I won’t vote, but the one directed by Edgerton is great until about half an hour from the end. It’s just not as good as what precedes, which ruins it a bit for me.

2000 The Gift. So beautifully done. Ribisi was so good and affecting. Two scenes for me that stand out are the one with his father, and later on toward the end. I cry every time.

The 2015 one with Bateman, Edgerton, and Hall. The 2000 movie is just silly. Cate Blanchett is trying her best though.

The Joel Edgerton one. And I'll say this again, the Rebecca Hall character was not raped.
