Numerous NBA players have donated some of their salary to arena workers who are out of work during this crisis.
Kevin Love of the Cavs may have been the first noteworthy player to start this trend across the league (somebody correct me if I'm wrong)
Love has been known to have a great heart - he's spoken openly about his panic attacks in the past paving the way for other athletes to open up about anxiety/depression when it was previously somewhat taboo for a male/athlete to talk about these things - Terry Bradshaw did this previously - it paved the way for other players like Demar Derozan and Jahlil Okafor to open up about them too.

Forgot about Ronaldo who was one of the first. I think he handed over his hotels to the Portuguese red cross or something.
Still waiting on Pogba, Sanchez, Neymar and the rest of those overpaid divas to make an effort.

Yahoo fantasy sports just emailed me a blasting report about Clemson investigating Trevor Lawrence raising funds for COVID-19 charity.
I mean, fcuk Clemson. Look for a backtrack & funds of their own in the coming hours to hide the fire.

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker says he will donate two months' salary to the British Red Cross to help in their work in the fight against the coronavirus.
The former England international, who currently works for both the BBC and BT Sport, recently served a period of isolation after his son George showed symptoms of the virus.
"The British Red Cross are on the front line trying to help in all sorts of different ways with the coronavirus," Lineker told World At One.
"Hopefully lots of other people that are in a position of relative wealth can do something similar and I am sure many will."

Joel Embiid after donating $500,000 - Is now partnering with Josh Harris and David Blitzer to donate $1.3 million partnering with Penn Medicine to provide testing in the area to healthcare workers. After a miserable season where a lot of fans have soured on him mostly for his attitude - he's really stepping up in the community - bravo
