Does anybody remember going to a movie theater or actually wiping with toilet paper?
I've heard stories that people would actually leave their house to eat!
Must have been a great time to be alive.

Eat and wipe? Now I know you're speaking of a fairy tale. At least we can hope, perchance to dream. You shouldn't feel guilty. Toilet paper may indeed be a trigger word going forward. Perhaps this whole thread was too much too soon.

One trade that will probably do well is plumbers . . . because people who can't find toilet paper are using paper towels and napkins which are clogging up drains.

They're also telling people not to flush the disposable wipes because they don't break down fast enough. When the sewers in LA backed up I read it was because people were flushing cut up t-shirts. We can always go old school and use dual purpose corn cobs. A nice meal and then use for wipin'. Good for nooks and crannies. Can't afford to be wasteful these days.

I have no memory of the things you speak of. Ahhh but alas, tis true my child. When the sun shone down upon our face and not the light from our computer. Now is the spring of our discontent Made glorious by buying toilet paper And all the White Cloud loured upon our house in our deep deep crevasse

I think only an idiot would flush paper towels down the toilet. I remember when I first moved out on my own for some stupid reason I flushed dental floss down the toilet. Needless to say a plumber was called.

I think from now on, anyone making jokes about toilet paper and paper towel consumption, should be banned from buying those products. You don't need it anyway.
