I've been a fan of Jameson since I tried it years ago and enjoyed this go to Irish Whiskey over many Bourbons and Scotch (blech, tastes like peat moss to me).
But recently I tried Paddy at a bar and just picked up a bottle of Tullamore DEW to aid in riding out the lockdown, and I really, really enjoy these so very smooth Whiskeys.
Anybody a fan of the Irish stuff?? With my limited experience with these, are there some out there that puts these to shame to sip or by the shot?

I am not a hard liquor drinker (but love my beer) and I know someone who swears by this. Its the only kind of liquor he drinks.

While Irish whiskey is not my go to (prefer Japanese), Green Spot is my personal favorite, with Glendalough not far behind. Green Spot is very affordable too, one of the better bottles at its price point.

I hadn't read up on the Japanese stuff before, but it does sound like they would produce something towards what I am discovering I prefer.
