My fellow Americans, this applies to pretty much almost everything to do with soccer.
Europeans, literally everything except soccer.
I usually don't unless the title is interesting to me.

I have to admit that the only threads I absolutely never click on are the ones about cricket or Australian sports. Sometimes the Aussies sneak them into unrelated threads meaning I have no choice but to read them.

Not often, no.

Usually not, but on occasion. Some you can't tell the sport by the subject line, too.
I find international soccer more interesting than MLS, and we're getting an MLS team less than 10 km from here,

I like soccer. It's the cricket threads I avoid.

Sometimes. I'm at least somewhat curious about the sports I don't know much about. I may not be convinced to watch them, but I occasionally get interested to learn how people talk about them.
Even the occasional golf thread.

I'll click on most NFL threads out of habit, and I'll check out the occasional NBA thread for shits and giggles. The entirety of my exposure to either league/sport comes from clicking on those threads so don't lead me astray with false info, fellow sports boarders.

Well, at least there's a lot less since DC Fan got the boot.

The Knicks and Jets are the favorites going into their respective seasons.

Many times I randomly click on any thread of sports board and I refresh the sports board page too often.

Depends on the type of thread, not necessarily the sport.
I watch football but rarely click on play by play or college related threads unless the thread is about the college playoff system. I watch basketball but mostly click on NBA threads, rarely on college basketball except around March Madness. Threads about drafts/free agency, etc. don't usually interest me either, especially in the off season.
All hockey threads are clicked on, as are most baseball threads and a majority of the soccer threads. I click on threads by those wackos from down under as I do like rugby and their football.
Solo sports aren't my thing so not being a golf fan, I've rarely ever clicked on any golf threads. The rise in Canadians in tennis means I might click on those threads more but only while they're still in tournaments.
I also click on all poll and 'hot chick' threads.

I have not open any cricket thread. No disrespect. Just I don't know cricket. Maybe someday I would learn to enjoy the sport.

In fact, I find cricket highly fun to play... but terminally boring to watch. I sometime see people play in the Park here in New York. If it were baseball, I can just stop and enjoy watching a long time them playing. I would have love to have the same enjoyment since it looks very similar to baseball. Just not a priority to learn it.

I click on most threads, but I really only actively avoid threads that are obviously college sports, especially college football. Just no skin in the game as it were. I don’t understand the following it generates for what is an immensely inferior version of a product freely available elsewhere.
