The Spanish Steps also appeared in Roman Holiday (1953) dir: William Wyler, The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) dir: Anthony Minghella, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015) dir: Guy Ritchie, in which Ilya Kuryakin falsely claims they were designed by a Russian architect.

Great clip! You no doubt realize this is an homage to the statue-lined stairway to heaven in A Matter of Life and Death, as illustrated in an earlier post in this thread? Sir, do you specialize in movies about cats? Perhaps you are, yourself, a cat? If so, perhaps you would care to start a thread about cats in movies? I think we have already had one about mangy mutts, so a thread about the superior animal would not be out of place.
