They did it for Frozen 2, but that had already competed its theatrical run. Should they just pull the trigger and put BW on Disney+ on May 1st? Or no?

How come? There’s no wrong answer, just curious as to your reasoning.

How come? There’s no wrong answer, just curious as to your reasoning. Well like with most movies that were intended for a theatrical release, people are going to be incredibly upset when they won’t get the chance to see it the way they would want to. Also I think it is dumb to spend all that budget and not have it pay off.

I'd say no because the second it hits Disney+ it'll soon be all over Pirate Bay, a 1080p version to watch without having to pay a penny.
Admittedly that's what I usually do, I did that with the Mandalorian and would do the same with Black Widow along with probably millions of others and then it'll just cost it big time.
I also don't know if every country has Disney+, probably not.

No. Movies like this are meant to be seen on the big screen, and this is coming from someone who has a 75 inch 4K screen with surround sound at home. Once I've seen it on the big screen a time or two, I'll be content watching it on my TV, but not until then. Hell I even paid $13.50 a couple of weeks ago to see the 1933 King Kong at the cinema. You just can't replicate the big screen, no matter how good a home theater set up you might have.

I'd rather not. But as a last resort if things get worse.

You're correct, though I'm not sure which ones...but it seems like when I was considering Sling I read that they didn't have 1080p, which was one of the reasons I didn't try them out.

I think they should put it on Disney+ but make it pay-per-view, that way they don't lose money on it. Charge like $20 to watch it or something.

I seriously doubt the mouse is going to give up on up to a billion dollars of box office money.
