Now with this one you’ll either know what I mean or you won’t. 90s thrillers just aren’t any thriller made in the 90s, they have a certain flavor that was almost completely unique to the decade. Many great thrillers from the 90s that I don’t think quite qualify here

Se7en - not a fan of Pitt's performance but Morgan Freeman more than makes up for him and the rest of the film is about as dark a film as I've seen, not one I enjoyed but I do appreciate the craftsmanship
The Game - another stylish thriller with fine performances, it's a little over the top as the ending unfolds but I enjoyed it a lot
Basic Instinct - another stylish thriller, it's often times silly but undeniably fun, Sharon Stone's best performance
