The Dark World is one of the few MCU films I hadn't seen in theaters, and yeah it's one of two MCU films I can think of that are a solid rental. But nothing more. The other being Iron Man 2 (which I did see in theaters ).

One thing we can know is why Jenkins left Thor: The Dark World in the first place. In a new interview with Vanity Fair about Wonder Woman 1984, she laid out exactly why her collaboration with Marvel didn’t work out, saying she didn’t believe she “could make a good movie out of the script that they were planning on doing.” She continued... It would have looked like it was my fault. It would’ve looked like, ‘Oh my God, this woman directed it and she missed all these things.’ That was the one time in my career where I really felt like, Do this with [another director] and it’s not going to be a big deal. And maybe they’ll understand it and love it more than I do.’ Jenkins didn’t have bad things to say about Marvel overall, and she offered high praise to Taika Waititi, who turned the Thor series around with Thor: Ragnarok. (“I love that movie,” she told VF.) Read More: Patty Jenkins Reveals Why She Quit ‘Thor 2’ | screencrush.com/why-patty-jenkins-quit-thor-2/?utm_source=tsmclip&utm_medium=referral

Bummed we have to wait until August for WW84. The second half of this year is going to packed with new releases actually worth seeing in the theater, I guess that's one positive we can take away from all this.

I think some of the future releases are going to get delayed. Remember, just about all of the film/TV series productions are also shut down - and that includes Netflix, Disney+, and AppleTV+ productions.

Yeah, I already figured Eternals amongst others would be pushed back to next year. But I was talking about everything that was already in the can. There are a bunch of films set to be released from March to June that were pushed back. We'll likely get the bulk of them from August-December, along with anything else that was nearly finished and set to be released in that timeframe. Then again, for all we know some of these films get pushed all the way into next year like Fast & Furious was.

Nah, fake Spock will try to twist this all around, upside down, inside out and then backtrack and change his own words along the way to make it fit his warped reality.
