I assume most if not all of us have been in isolation and lock down in some form or other now, and it looks like we will be for the foreseeable future.
With God's grace hopefully none of us catch the old coronavirus, and if we do, we only get the mildest symptoms 🍀 🙏
Just checking in on how our sports board family are holding up mental health wise.
Everyone alright?
How many of us are isolated on their own?
I am, but I'm okay with it. I'm pretty much a hermit who shuns physical human company anyway. I prefer the company of other animals.
I can imagine it could be hard for other people not used to it. Or anxious for loved ones they are separated from.
To be honest, hell for me would be being locked down with other people.
Anyway, look after your mental health during this troubling time. It will pass, but if you are struggling, reach out to someone you can trust, and talk about it. My DMs are open if anyone feels the need to chat.

Similar, introvert alone, have enough stuff, been mostly OK with it, but usually when I don't get out for days it's due to depression. And I am feeling it today. Just sitting on my butt a lot, looking for activity here, on Facebook, in email. After sitting on my but working all week and filling in the rest of the time doing the same. Still not even watching Netflix or movies or doing much productive. Doing a half-assed job of sanitizing, but haven't been to even a store in almost 2 weeks.
So will definitely get outside this weekend, walk and bike. Always helps.

Okayish so far, thanks.
Like you, I’m not exactly sociable at the best of times so the isolation isn’t much of a stretch for me.
Not looking forward to having to go to get my prescription next week and then to stand in line at the pharmacy. Worried I may pick it up then.

My pharmacy has a drive-up window and I can prepay online. I just tried out the prepay aspect, but it had glitches. I was supposed to be able to either show the QR code on my phone or give them a 6-digit number. They had no place to enter or check the number, so I had to pass my phone with the QR code in.

I'm grateful/thankful/thoughts-prayers go out to the hard working people of Fedex, UPS, USPS, Amazon, etc - all the hard working warehouse employees still working through all of this and all the drivers delivering us our products.
Noticed (I'll have to read the full article - the company's name escapes me) - a mail service had asked consumers to only buy essentials right now.

I'm fine with being on my own. Got me animals for company.
Worst I am finding is if I need anything from shop, now that my personal shopper/next door neighbours are sick I feel like I am going on a dangerous scavenging mission in an episode of the Walking Dead... 'I need some broccoli and fancy some crisps, but is it worth the risk 🤔'.
And I am missing my charity shop DVD film runs.

Ever see 'Dark Night of the Scarecrow'?

I do watch films on YouTube. I just wish I could play them on my telly box. More relaxing than watching them on yer phone screen.

Can't you cast video from your phone to your TV? Think you need home wi-fi for that. I don't have that... Just a mobular smartphone. Ah, I didn't realise that. Yes, you need wifi I think.
