The last we heard of End Times preacher Irvin Baxter, he was claiming that critics of Donald Trump were guided by Satan. But now he shows up with “prophet” Jim Bakker, seller of dangerous snake oil as a COVID-19 cure, to inform us as to the cause of the current crisis. Baxter goes on to quote the Bible: “Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. No fornicator, no adulterer, nor effeminate, nor abuser of themselves of mankind, nor extortioner, nor drunkard. None of these shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (The part about drunkard worries me.) So, it’s because of all that screwing that our Gracious Lord has visited this plague on us all.
There’s just one little hitch God didn’t count on. With everybody secluded indoors, what did God think people would be doing?
Did you notice that Baxter is troubled that only women are not virgins at marriage?
BTW, I think Baxter has tested negatively for sexuality. Either that or he is incredibly angry (especially at women) that everybody else is getting some but he isn’t.

New rule of law: shoot these pieces of shit. That would be a waste. I say: Use them as guinea pics for research on cures and vaccines against COVID-19. After all, right-winger DNA is similar to human DNA.

Let's see: We pay money and apply a government-sanctioned license at my town hall. We take a blood test at my doctor's office. We wait three days because that's what the government dictates. I stand before a government-authorized official and affirm my desire to get married. The official signs my/our license(s) and returns them to their respective town halls. Voila, we are married as far as the government is concerned. But what about Yahweh/Jehovah? None of the above steps involved a religious figure at all. Are we just fornicators as far as God is concerned? SOOOOOOO: What is Jim Bakker's definition of married? Are we unmarried in the eyes of the church? When the Bible talks of husbands and wives, what defines a husband and wife?

A wedding ring is like a tourniquet, it cuts off your circulation. How does one become "married" in Baxter's eyes? Let's see: We pay money and apply a government-sanctioned license at my town hall. Are we unmarried in the eyes of the church? When the Bible talks of husbands and wives, what defines a husband and wife? That's exactly right. Marriage equality and co-habitation can only be opposed if MAGAs ignore that marriage is a legal civil contract. Even if a couple chooses a church blessing of the marriage, the presiding minister must be licensed by the state they live in for the marriage to be legal. If a church-married couple divorce, they go to civil court - not back to the church. Another point: what Jesus plainly says about divorce in Matthew during the so-called Sermon on the Mount and what the author of the Letters to Timothy say about church officers having had only one wife is conveniently ignored by fundie congregations and preachers, many of whom have been divorced or are married to previously married spouses. It is clear that these independent fundamentalist churches are not based on the Bible but on a 21st century extreme right-wing political agenda.

Here's a refresher course for those unaware that Jim Bakker is a lying piece of shit thief, rapist and hypocrite. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessica_HahnJessica Hahn (born July 7, 1959) is an American model and actress. She accused televangelist Jim Bakker of rape while she was employed as a church secretary. She frequently appeared on The Howard Stern Show throughout the late 1980s and into the 2000s. Jim Bakker scandal
Hahn first came to public attention following Jim Bakker's announcement on March 19, 1987, that he was stepping down as head of PTL Satellite Network and Heritage USA, pending the imminent disclosure of a sexual encounter between the two of them. According to Hahn, on the afternoon of December 6, 1980, when she was a 21-year-old church secretary, she was drugged and raped by Bakker and another preacher, John Wesley Fletcher, for "about 15 minutes". Hahn was given a $279,000 pay-off for her silence, which was paid with PTL's funds to Hahn through Bakker associate Roe Messner. Bakker, who made all of the financial decisions for the PTL organization, allegedly kept two sets of books to conceal the accounting irregularities. Reporters from The Charlotte Observer, led by Charles Shepard, investigated and published a series of articles regarding the PTL organization's finances. This precipitated Bakker's resignation and the publication of Hahn's claims. In his 1997 book, I Was Wrong, Bakker disputed Hahn's account, claiming that he was "set up" and that the sex was consensual. Acting and modeling career
After the public revelation of the Bakker scandal, Hahn posed nude for Playboy (November 1987, December 1987 and September 1989) and videos and appeared in several television shows, including Married... with Children. She was also known for her frequent appearances on The Howard Stern Show throughout the late 1980s and into the 2000s. Personal life
Hahn was born in Massapequa, New York and graduated from Massapequa High School. She had a relationship with comedian Sam Kinison and appeared in his music video for "Wild Thing" in 1988. In 1991, she began a relationship with the co-creator of Married...with Children, Ron Leavitt, which continued until his death in 2008. In December 2017, Hahn disclosed that she is married to Frank Lloyd (a film stuntman), is no longer active in show business, and lives on a ranch north of Los Angeles.
