Star Wars... it's just pure joy, my #6 all time. Empire while excellent, is the less re-watchable for me; it'd make my top 150 maybe.

My vote goes to A New Hope due to its excellent world building and exciting action. Empire my have expanded the universe, but Hope laid the foundation for everything to come.

I'd say Empire because it has better special effects, more interesting locations, more Darth Vader and a vastly better lightsaber duel.
