I picked "Red Dragon" because I question its inclusion as a "stinker".

Temple of Doom is far from being a stinker. 7.6 on IMDb and 85% on RT and it made over 300 million in profit! Some folk didn't quite get how dark thematically it was, bold show from Spielberg.

Although I don’t mind Phantom Menace either.

I find it the cheesiest, most gimmicky and silly of them all, wasn’t bold just misguided. Never bring up profit as a plus in here or you will be banished to an eternity of watching the transformers sequels in hell

It was a different era of film making, and funny enough it's easily the earliest film on your list of so called stinkers. If your definition of a stinker is quite simply that you don't like something, in spite of the financial, rating and critical facts clearly stating otherwise, then that's obviously your prerogative, but I'm sorry but that's a misguided guideline if ever there was one.

Yes all these threads are my lists of what I like and dislike, you seem to be the only one who doesn’t get it Wow! You really don't like someone calling your definition into question. Look, Beadle, you have called Temple of Doom a stinker, I have proved that it clearly isn't as regards the history of cinema and facts and figures. All you have done is call it one when really you should be putting it on a thread entitled "these are prequels I don't like, which do you like?". Called you on it and you have got your panties in a twist, and knowing you from the old site you will come back with I'm a nut and you put me on block because you don't like your opinion questioned instead of debating in a mature and adult way. You were straight on the defensive, Transformers, WTF? I do get it, since I have been supporting your poll threads for a while now so it's not like I don't know what you are about madam. I like feisty women anyway, just chill out girl, this is hardly worthy of a touching a nerve situation, blimey! Anyway, I know you are a noir fan, and in fact I remember talking to you about Blast of Silence and you checked it out the following week So if you haven't seen them, I recommend The Sniper and I have just watched and enjoyed Armoured Car Robbery. Don't think either would make your stinkers list. Peace
