Alex Garlands new baby. I like it but some scenes feels forced like they are telling us things instead of showing us and thats too bad.
but other than that its interesting.

but I do appreciate the slow mo Regular/Realistic looking fight, that might be a First I have eve seen.
the scene in Bridget Jones doesnt count that was still exaggerated.

ok, finished the season, i must admire Garlands dedication and his unique style, both visual and audio. very recognizably garlandish. i am not necessarily the biggest fan of his Annihilation/Devs strenghened stylistics and pacing, or the philosophy he is pushing, but I admire the dedication and creative vision that went into it, and the show was enjoyable, albeit with quite a few clicks on fast forwarding.
7/10, if it was a bit faster i would give more.

It's getting rave reviews on another forum I frequent but I don't trust those people, they are always a little over-enthusiastic about new shows.

Nick Offerman in a new type of role for him is especially captivating. Sonoya Mizuno, the leading lady, is also great its Garlands long term muse. plus Alison Pill in the dead pannest role ever. everybody is great.

I'm six episodes in and it's good.
Probably would have been better as a movie.
It's gorgeous to look at.
Offerman is great and especially in contrast to his role in Parks & Rec.
It was hilarious seeing him in the first episode eating a salad.
