Honestly I'm done with the Fox Men franchise. I loved DOFP and it should've ended with that movie. I liked Apocalypse until I rewatched DOFP and FC and then I realized how terrible Apocalypse was. Dark Pheonix was no better.

You’re all wrong. No way is it as bad as Suicide Squad.

(and he says ‘f@&k’ and was a real tough guy). And if we were all 12 that would be super cool
It’s not just the fact he says it, it’s how he says it.

Oh yes it was that bad. It's hard to say which is the absolute worst. DP, Catwoman, or Fant4stic. Problem is I don't want to subject myself to watching any of them again to decide. So I am going to declare them the Holy triad of suck. They are all equal abominations.

Agreed. Same with DOFP and Apocalypse. It comes off as so forced and unnatural. They're basically saying "See how grown up and mature we are! We said Fuck! But only once because we're PG-13!" Seriously, have some self-respect, it's embarrassing. It worked well in X-Men: First Class because it fits well with Wolverine's character. It didn't work well with remaining films because: -In X-Men: Days of Future Past, Xavier didn't even get the line correctly. The line from First Class was "Go f**k yourself", not "F**k off". -In X-Men: Apocalypse, it just felt out of place. -In X-Men: Dark Phoenix, not only it came right out of nowhere (no pun-intended), but the execution was utterly embarrassing. Fun fact, I was so disappointed by X-Men: Dark Phoenix that I ended up creating #PixarChallenge on MCU Fan Forum. I don't know if it worked in First Class either. Scene seemed made just to fit an F-bomb in the movie. They introduce themselves, he tells them to "Go f**k yourself." They just walk away. They didn't even try to convince him.

It’s not just the fact he says it, it’s how he says it. Which everyone but you and likely the lunatic trio when they pop up in here like a haemorrhoidal trifecta, but everyone else seems to be of the opinion that said F bomb is pathetically done, and even if was good however a good F bomb doesn't make a movie worth watching.

What is funny is the director is one of the worst hacks known in Hollywood and he is a big MCU fan.
Dark Phoenix belongs in the same place as Endgame, Far From Home, Captain Marvel. 2019 for comic films was a joke.
You look at all this movies and you just love Logan, TDK, Joker, DOFP, X2 more.
What is funnier is we will indeed see far worse xmen films to come with MCU X-Men.

Captain Marvel has much better ratings than X-Men: Dark Phoenix on just about every single review sites. You can't use some of the audience ratings since they were tempered by whiny alt-right cronies. 2. I'm sorry, but the film version of Rogue was pretty much atrocious. She almost comes off as a liability for the team throughout the entire series. In fact, this is why I myself (and a large number of people, I'm sure) were not liking the idea of Bryan Singer directing Red Sonja because even without those scandals, Singer has a dismal track record of handling female characters, so how were people supposed to trust him to direct a film in which the main character is a female? But then again, Millennium Films is the same studio who is responsible for Hellboy (2019), so this kind of stupidity might not be all that surprising.

It’s complete trash. CM isn’t much better. Endgame can’t be watched more than once. DP is watchable. I give it 6.5/10. FFH I give 3/10, CM 5.5/10. Endgame gets about a 6/10.

WHAT??!!!!! Pretty much. History won’t be kind to the worst of the MCU films. Dark Phoenix carried baggage with it upon its release. It wasn’t supposed to be made and screwed with the x-films timeline. It was also a story that had been told before. But if you watch it without prejudice, you see it as a competent film. The MCU films have about a dozen prior films as advertising for each release. Even the bad films, of which there are several, satisfy those enamoured by the good work of the better prior entries. Audiences are very forgiving of their faults. But viewed as independent entities, many of the films hold little other charm other than their piece in a greater picture.

What is your position on the Disney Fox merger? also I am a proud Disney shareholder who voted in favor of the Disney Fox merger so the X-Men can be in the MCU and I am fucking proud!

You do know what a sequel is, yes? They aren't separate franchises advertising each other. They are just sequels to the movie before it. It's like saying that A New Hope is an advertisement for The Empire Strikes Back.
