I haven’t bought anything yet, surprisingly. If malls stay closed for too long I’ll have to cave though.

I've shopped online for groceries only. (Confession: I include wine in "groceries." And, I placed an order to BevMo.")
I posted about my first experience, on the "Food & Drink" board. On the whole it was most satisfactory.
- I was asked if the store might make certain substitutions, in the event that a given brand/product was no longer in stock. I OK'd that. There was one substitution, and they also included a can of smoked oysters that I hadn't ordered. That was fine.
- I was given options, online, as to how much to "tip" the delivery person. I like that feature. The amount is already included in the order, and we could maintain "social distance," in not having to had over cash.
- One Hitch: I don't know if it was my mistake, or the store's. I was certain that I ordered a dozen eggs, but I was sent 3 dozen, and I already had a few. Now I have 42 eggs, and I live alone. (sigh) A fellow poster on "F & D," suggested that I donate them to a food kitchen, which I'm trying to do. Unfortunately, so far, none that I have called, has the staff to come to pick them up ... and, I'm not going out. I'll keep trying.
- There is a time delay, which has increased, obviously because of demand. My last order was a 2 day delay. And, a few more basics that I ordered today (Monday), will be delivered on Thursday (4/2). They do specify a 2 hour time "window," but I'm not going anywhere, anyway.
- The prices are a bit higher than I'm used to paying -- especially for produce, which I buy at independent shops in the neighborhood. But, I guess that's to be expected.
- On my first order, I received a whole chicken. I cut it up for portions to freeze. The piece that I had last night was fresh, moist and delicious.
So far, it's been a positive experience, all things considered. But, I so look forward to "going out, when I wanna GET something!!!"

Wine and liquor stores are doing a brisk business! One store was out of my favorite vodka, so we had to obtain from m another. My wubpne supply is god. Do you bake? You could make muffins and quickbreads and cookies and freeze them.

I've been ordering groceries online for about 3 years from a local store. Always have had great success. The only problem I ever had was one bundle of cilantro that was bad. I just threw it away. It wasn't worth the hassle for 69 cents or whatever it cost.
We have a convenience store here that delivers.. On Friday I ordered eggs, potatoes, milk, bread etc... They had it to my house in 20 minutes.
I normally order almost everything online but I've actually ordered less online now than before. No idea why.

More for both, which I'll include Netflix & some books via amazon. I'm not burning through garbage if that's the question. My needs, I've already done a pre-order grocery order last week & went well, I don't need a grocery store for another 10 days or more.
The only expense on my horizon is/was tire change from winters to all seasons. I'll probably do that in May, I'm not driving more than 5 mins a week if that.

Online shopping is life. The only thing I don't buy online is groceries.
Edit: and gas.

TheOriginalPinkie asked: "Do you bake? You could make muffins and quickbreads and cookies and freeze them."
I like to cook, but baking isn't something that I do often. However, that's a good thought. I'll check my flour supply, maybe do some."

If I go on Amazon there is a notification, that delivery in my area is slower due to Corona, so I guess even online shopping is affected by the virus.

About the same. I've been buying everything I can online for years, which is most everything except fresh fruits/veggies and other things that can't easily be shipped.

the only thing that has changed is shopping at best buy for their Blu-rays and 4k Steelbooks
Usually I get those in store but right now, it's just easier to pay their 3.99 shipping charge
oh and some things where Amazon won't ship right away gets ordered elsewhere
if I see the following message, I'm ordering elsewhere - "Extended delivery time: We’re temporarily prioritizing the delivery of some items in order to serve our customers in need and ensure the safety of our associates. As a result, some delivery times are longer than usual. Learn more"
