Is it free - or is it one of those deals where the month is free - but in order to sign up they collect your credit card/debit card information and you'll be automatically charged the next month and can't cancel? There's a horror website 'Shudder' out there - tried to sign up and they pulled this horsecrap. They think they could pull the wool over a smart cookies eyes like myself - but I ain't bitin'

I signed purely to watch some PPVs from 98-02.

Which reminds me, I have to cancel my ancestry dot com free trial soon or they're going to nail me with a $99 subscription. I need to make myself a note lol.

Is Goldberg going to keep the strap now that he's facing Strowman instead of Reigns?
Or is he going to put Strowman over?
My understanding was Reigns was going over Goldie before he pulled out.
Not quite sure if they're comfortable putting the strap on Strowman right now - especially with the show being there's 0 fans in the audience with this corona stuff going on and they're airing tapings in an empty studio
Goldberg > Braun tv rating wise.
Just swerve him full fledge heel - that will bring some ratings in - people curious to see why he turned.

Braun and Goldberg is a more interesting match in my opinion, but I definitely don't want Braun to walk away with the belt. I have very little desire to see Braun vs Roman at Summerslam.

I made this mistake with 'Mylife.com' to try to see if anybody was looking for me and missed me.
Turns out nobody did

What do you think the chances are Sting makes an appearance and challenges 'Taker at 'Mania 37.
Would give him another full year to recover from that injury - it's all about the story/show/drama - he wouldn't have to take many bumps - you protect him during the match with run-ins galore and it's like a 5 minute match.
'Mania is a spectacle/party like the Super Bowl - it's big names and dream matchups like this we need.
I was actually hoping for Cena/Goldberg at this years 'Mania and Cena breaks Flairs record and got the strap.
Sometimes I don't know why I'm not a booker.

It really is now or never for both guys. I'd say they have a two year window max. Matches don't come much bigger than that. Everyone would watch. Nobody's going to miss that.

I have a close friend who's a producer for WWE network so I have free access to it, but this may be the worst time that I actually care to check it out since it will be this bizarre spectacle with nobody in the audience to make it lively.

Who were your favorites from 98-02?
I was a big fan of ‘Taker, Kane, RVD, Hardy Boyz... Have you seen Matt reinvent himself over the years with his 'Broken' Matt Hardy gimmick?
Started off 'Broken' a few years back in TNA - WWE changed it to 'Woken' (think legal terms) - he's in AEW now as 'Demascus' or something like that - he's done a good job over the years in managing to stay relevant by continually reinventing himself/his persona.
It's some pretty entertaining/over the top cheesey stuff - TNA made the vignettes look like a Tarrantino/Rodriguez flick at times.

The only thing interesting about this years show is how much of a train wreck will it be with all the shuffling of the card because of sickness and injuries (pull outs from Roman Reigns case that is) all with an empty arena that really won't feel like a WrestleMania. It's going to be weird.
That said, they've apparently already recorded all (or most of) the matches so it won't be live. No reason for it to be without an audience either. So if there are any screw ups it'll be funny because they'll have been able to redo spots to fix them and splice them together.
That said, this years card sucks ass even before pull outs and so on. The only interesting match from a pure wrestling stand point is Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens. However we've seen them wrestle multiple times already so not sure what they could do in such a situation to really stand out.
I'd suggest unless you're getting it for free or you just have the Network already to skip it. Or if you're just interested into how weird it'll be go for it.

I'd recommend that they give it to ESPN or FOX and let them air it, but with how bad it will be it definitely won't draw more viewers in. As the saying goes, nothing can destroy a bad business faster than good marketing. Edit: I also heard KO was sick.

As the saying goes, nothing can destroy a bad business faster than good marketing. Edit: I also heard KO was sick. Interesting thought in regards to ESPN or FOX. I'd be curious to know what the re-airings of past WrestleMania's has done on ESPN lately with people starved for something sports related even if it is scripted. I'd imagine that airing it on ESPN at least 1 of the 2 nights would make sense as I think it'd give them good ratings numbers. Maybe do Night 1 on ESPN and Night 2 of the Network. I think that could really make sense. If KO is sick now too than fuck. This whole thing was a shit show and should have been postponed to begin with. I wonder what a guy like Undertaker or Goldberg are thinking who are older and more high risk to this illness. Now I know they have the money to probably get through it but still. Just, fucking why put your talent/employees in this situation other than to make Vince McMahon his money. Personally I salute Reigns for just stepping out and saying "nah".

Sports, Discuss sports here Dude, don't be that gate keeper guy. There is nothing else going on. Let somebody bring up WrestleMania which is honestly all we've got atm. If you want to ignore it, than ignore the thread.

If you want to ignore it, than ignore the thread. It’s a joke going back to the old sports board, where we had a poster named “andyway” who’d reply to every off-topic thread with the same line: “sports, discuss sports here.” Actually, sometimes he’d say “sports, discuss them.” It came off as funny because he’d never contribute anything else at all, let alone discuss sports himself. Anyway, GoodMan was just referencing that!
