Some iconic ones coming up starting at 1 - just when football starts! You b@st@rds! 1:00 - Nick of Time (11/18/60) S2 E7 - Newlyweds Don and Pat Carter enter a diner in a small town and have their fortunes told to them by a machine. 1:30 - Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (10/11/63) S5 E3 - A man recovering from a nervous breakdown sees a horrifying creature on the wing of his plane. 2:00 - Living Doll (11/1/63) S5 E6 - A vindictive doll takes revenge on a man who wants it destroyed. 2:30 - The Passerby (10/6/61) S3 E4 - A crippled soldier drops out of a marching column and meets a woman.

I think I prefer the Twilight Zone: The Movie version of Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.

I crack up though every time I see the monster suit in this one.

Another great Simpsons parody, by the way.

Hard to believe Halloween was over 2 months ago
Might get a Treehouse of Horror Marathon going now after the Eagles game (if they're still free on my package like they were in October)
Less than 10 months until Halloween.......

Walking Distance is my favorite episode. I'm sure they'll get to "Where is Everybody?" Where is Everybody? was the pilot for TZ incidentally.

Kudos to SYFY - they're running a TZ marathon - which they typically run New Years Eve/New Years and the 4th of July
On right now -
'Walking Distance' (it's ending)
This was a good one folks - 'A man's need to escape the pressure of his work takes him back to his childhood'
Up next -
'Escape Clause' - A man afraid of death makes a pact with the devil for immortality
One of my all time favorite shows, they work best as a half hour show - season 4 was the one hour long versions which were the weakest (except for Talking Tina). I bring this up because of the new Tz produced by Jordan Peele, which is a piece of shit. Just awful, hour long pathetic attempts at TZs. Every single one sucked.
The first season, I fully agree - I don't think there was any half-decent episode in the lot. The second season had some good stuff.

You couldn't do a modern version of The Twilight Zone any better than Black Mirror did it. I'm sorry that it seems to have ended.

You are absolutely right; even though I quite liked some of the s2 episodes of the new Twilight Zone, none of them comes close to Black Mirror.

I've never actually seen any of it since it was on yet another new streaming service that I had no intention of paying for. But I've got Paramount Plus on a discount for another 2 months after canceling my trial, so maybe I'll check it out while I've got it. Which ones are worth watching?

Unfortunately I don't rate individual episodes of TV shows, so I have to rely on memory. By looking at the plot descriptions on Wikipedia, I remember liking episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 of season 2. The other four episodes of s2 were decent enough and might be worth your time as well.
From season 1, episodes 3, 4 and 10 were OK.
