Good call for a marathon... Was bummed when it went behind the CBS pay wall and off Prime. Wish I was able to record. But will just watch it live for a bit.

My hubby was just checking the TV Schedule
and just told me about it too .
I think this marathon goes on until 6AM tomorrow
so at least we will get to watch
some real good ones as always .
So funny I was going to have my very own TZ DVD Marathon this past Monday but got side tracked somehow - oh well at least it's on now .
It appears from the SyFy commercial I just saw
that this TZ Marathon on SyFy ( so far ) will be on again
the following next Tuesday ( 4/7 ) from 6AM to Wednesday ( 4/8 ) 7:30AM as well .
Thanks so much gspdude for your subject post here also .

I noticed that they had a marathon going on yesterday and the day before. What's the occasion as it's NEITHER New Year's eve or day, OR the fourth of July?

Was watching this yesterday—not sure why it was on, but I don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth, and I love randomly stumbling upon Twilight Zones I’ve never seen before.
Anyway, yesterday I saw “Showdown with Rance McGrew” for the first time. Far from a great or even good episode (it kinda feels like filler, and Serling’s introduction gives away the entire plot, twist and all), but the premise is pretty clever: annoying TV star whose character kills Jesse James is sent back in time and meets the real Jesse James.
The episode would have been great if it went through the differences between what the Old West is like in movies/TV and what it was like in real life, but instead James knows about the TV show and it’s all played for comedy. This is a prime episode for remaking at some point.

IMPO - It seemed from the TZ SyFy commercial I watched yesterday evening
that it was targeted specifically for the people who are stuck at home
( because of this current situation )
and if they had nothing to do while staying confined to the home front
is to watch this big marathon to pass the time .
If I recall the 2 taglines for this commercial was - " STAY IN - GEEK OUT " .
I definitely don't see this as a punishment here .

just rechecked this Tuesdays schedule and it looks like NO TZ Marathon .
