Before I became a vegetarian many years I used to like them with applesauce. I've always felt some fruits go very well with meat.

I can also do Yorkshire pudding. Do you like glazed tarragon carrots? They are yummy!

How do you cook yours Pinky? Halve them, tear off outer leaves and cut stems, toss in olive oil, place on a baking sheet, season with salt, pepper and garlic and bake (roast) for about eight to ten minutes, depending on size. They are SOOO tasty! For some reason, there has been a run on fresh broccoli, so I'm doing more brussel sprouts. Soon I'll have to use frozen veggies. Meh.

As character Peter Brady ( from The Brady Bunch TV Show ) would say - " pork chops and applesauce - that's swell ! "   .
I say nothing like a home cooked meal to perk up any ones spirits at the end of the day too - a definite must   .

oh you worked there too? I worked there in the late 80’s and I remember they gave free dinner. I haven’t eaten there in like 20 years. I just got this grilled chicken sandwich because it seemed healthy but it actually was 430 calories 😁. It was good though. The menu is limited these days so they didn’t have any of the salads but they had a lot more healthier stuff now than they used to |

LOL I have made them like this before. Bake them in oven covered in applesauce.
