The Hans Zimmer theme for Superman has pretty much been abandoned at this point. It seems like no matter what, the John Williams score will always win out as the definitive Superman music. Still, what do people think of Hans Zimmer’s theme on its own? I remember hearing some conflicting things on it back in the day, but now that it’s been almost seven years, I wonder what people currently think of it.
Personally, I always liked the score. It was probably never going to be as iconic as what John Williams did, but I always thought it was memorable and bombastic enough in its own right.

TBH I don't mind it, problem is I don't recognise it either, which if it's meant to be the characters theme essentially you need to be able to recognise it, otherwise it's just another tune on the soundtrack and who gives a shit?

Better than the movie surrounding it.
