Okay chums, I have something to beat the COVID blues. A game me and my brother used to play in winter when the olny ports on was ABC Wide World of Sports (yay, skiing) or the PBA. Throw out a team, any sport, and fill in the lineup. Then another and another. We didn't have Google or Wikipedia so ypu don't either. Just lets got have 10-20 going at once and don't get to technical. "Joe Jones had three more at bats or the 1878 Wilmington Quicksteps than Fred Smith, so he was their starting Shortstop".
I'll begin, the 1991 Atlanta Braves

Hmmm, how specific do we have to be? Like, Opening Day lineup plus positions?
1 - Otis Nixon (OF) 2 - Jeff Blauser (SS) 3 - stupid Terry Pendleton (3B) 4 - Ron Gant (OF) 5 - David Justice (OF) 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - Steve Avery (P)

McGriff was a couple years later, 93 or 94. Chipper also started in 93, played for a week or so and then missed all of 94 with injuries before having a very good rookie year in '95.

McGriff was a couple years later, 93 or 94. Chipper also started in 93, played for a week or so and then missed all of 94 with injuries before having a very good rookie year in '95. McGriff trade was around July 10th or 12th 1993, and he replaced incumbent Sid Bream at 1B.

I think we need a consistent template, to be quoted & edited by the next.

I should have clarified. We called it the Lineup Game but it was really who started. the LG can work for basketball, football hockey, soccer
The normal everyday lineup. Most games at that position. When dealing with a platoon, either counts. OF is OF, no center, left or right, but bonus points if you do know. The starters on the '91 Braves
1b - Sid Bream 2b - Jeff Treadway/Mark Lemke 3b - Terry Pendleton SS - Rafi Belliard OF - Ron Gant, David Justice, Lonnie Smith C - Greg Olson P - Glavine (any starter will do)

Mike Stanton was on the team, at least the WS roster.

Mike Stanton was on the team, at least the WS roster. We never did the whole roster.
We had a lot of run with this. Winters in the 70's in western NY, well, kind of like now, you couldn't get outside. So we made a game using the battered Baseball Encyclopedia we had. I forgot a lot but I can still recite many, 1961 Yankees, 1969 Mets, 1955 Dodgers, 1929 A's.
