Does anyone else here now like researching and finding movies more than watching them ? Is it just me ? I´m in that mood, kind of. I mean I´m adding movies to my Youtube "Watch Later" (so many!), but I am not focused enough to watch them now. The same with Neftlix. My ADD is striking hard these days, so I am rewatching movies that I enjoy, mostly.

The more I research an unwatched movie, often the more curious I am to watch it.
To that point, there are movies I've no intention of ever watching & I'll read up on historically, including spoilers. Just so I can contextualize better why ppl discuss it.

I go through phases. At the moment, I'm going through a movie-watching phase. I've seen 4 movies thus far this week. My track record for March was good.
There are other times when I focus more on researching and finding movies and watch very few. Only saw 2 in January, for example. And I didn't watch a single movie between November 2018 and April 2019. That was a long gap, but I still researched movies to watch during that period.

I like both, but bottom line I prefer to watch the films.

Well at least watching movies, at home, is a good way to social distance!

I used to be for sure, I'd scourge eBay and used record stores for the most obscure horror movies on DVD, pay ridiculous sums of money to buy them, then I'd either never watch them or hardly pay attention to them because they weren't particularly good. Admittedly sometimes I still do fall victim to the search game. I watched Color Out Of Space last night, and then set off on a mission to find a copy of Richard Stanley's original short film Rites of Passage, apparently the only way to see it is by buying some $50 OOP DVD edition of Hardware. I added it to my eBay watchlist, but luckily I came to my senses before buying it.
