Any one else besides Dave LaRoche used it?

I think Rip Sewell invented it. It was called the "Eephus" He tired to throw in to Ted Williams in the 1946 ASG. It ended up into the cheap seat but that was the only time anyone hit the Eephus out.

The hardest hit I think I remembered was when LaRoche came out to pitch at Fenway Park, Jim Rice whipped one into the Green Monster for a double.
