no one mentioned Leni Riefenstahl whose films were pro fascism? and while helping to progress filmmaking also sort of glamorized those facets of society.

Lots of good picks so far. People are really into the spirit of the thread.
I'm going with Politicidal's pick. FLESH+BLOOD is just what Political said. Yet it's fascinating, full of great motivation, great characters, and like most classics, the supporting characters are truly great, and truly credible.
I'll add TARZAN AND HIS MATE for some obvious reasons.
And RIDE THE HIGH COUNTRY. One wonders just what the difference is between the heroes and the villains here. Just that the heroes are stronger?
