I don’t mean DC movies in general, I specifically mean the DCEU. I’m convinced at this point that the franchise is cursed. These movies have been a giant magnet for controversy, and their general track record at the box office isn’t even that great. At this point, they should just forget about Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa and Margot Robbie. I know they’ve already made it clear that they’re done with pushing a connected universe, but they should commit to it and end any lingering traces of the universe that Zack Snyder started.
To quote Bruce Wayne: “You should shut it down.”

When you say forget about Gadot, Momoa, and Robbie, you mean just keep those three? What about Levi? He's kept his nose clean.

When you say forget about Gadot, Momoa, and Robbie, you mean just keep those three? What about Levi? He's kept his nose clean. No. I meant they should get rid of those three as well. They’re associated with the Snyderverse as well, and they have been no strangers to controversy as well (though nothing as bad as assaulting someone or abusing and framing their spouses). For example, a lot of people hate Gal Gadot for having served in the Israeli army, and a lot of people are currently mad at her for that song cover she did. Sure, that stuff might seem minor, but it’s indicative of just how much these films have been magnets for online outrage. As for Zachary Levi, I might be inclined to say that they should keep him. The Shazam crew seems to have been pretty good at avoiding controversy. I guess it helps that several of them are still kids, and David F. Sandberg seems like a pretty down to Earth guy with a humble background.

That’s just foolish to get rid of them too. They didn’t do anything wrong. People complained about Brie Larson nonstop yet Captain Marvel made a billion dollars.

They aren't going to get rid of Gal Gadot or Jason Momoa anytime soon...both have been in their most successful movies. Don't see that happening. And I don't think they should.

Money talks in the industry, if Wonder Woman 84, Aquaman 2, Shazam! 2, Black Adam, and The Suicide Squad are hits with audiences, do fine critically, and end up making close to or over a billion they'll still see a connected universe as something to still invest in, but how they will try and "connect" like a major crossover sort of event like a Justice League is a mystery and I'd imagine it's been a force of frustration for many executives at WB.
It's a bummer the DCEU is the mess that it is, Zack Snyder was the only one who really had something of a game plan for it but his films were too divisive and they got cold feet and wanted to course correct.
