Recently caught this film on TV. It's a fun little film that I feel like really slipped thru the cracks, which is odd considering the star power of Denzel and Wahlberg. Definitely had the tropes of a buddy-cop formula and definitely plays them up but with some nice twists. Has a nice line up too. Bill Paxton is always a welcome, especially considering this is one of his last films before his death. Some nice boobs (. )( .)from Paula Patton too!

I don't think it is very fun. It's a generic action comedy that is only worth mentioning because of the chemistry between Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.
5.5/10

Paula Patton’s breasts are the only thing I remember.

2 GUNS begins without a real introduction. That’s a way of saying “We know you, modern viewers. We know that, even if you’re action junkies who like to turn off your brains, you can still think and figure things out.” That gave me hope that this wasn’t going to be a dumb movie. It wasn’t... but it was still bad. You know that scene in the trailer where the 2 protagonists discover their true identities? It takes a long time for that to happen. And after that, it takes more time for them to team up. And you know that scene--actually, look at the poster. That moment where they shooting in opposite directions surrounded by burning bills doesn’t happen until there's 10 minutes left. Was there something rewarding in between? Nope, just a convoluted plot that’s way too serious for such an over-the-top violent movie. Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg have good chemistry, but their dialogue consists of buddy cop banter that’s forced and dated. 3/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
