What are some of your favourite/memorable ones?
Yesterday I rewatched The Naked Gun (1988) and the last third or so of the movie is set at an Angels/Mariners baseball game where QEII is the planned target of an assassination. Good stuff. This brought to mind the Van Damme masterpiece Sudden Death (1995) which has it's climactic ending set during game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Penguins and Blackhawks.
What else... there's Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant (1992) shooting at his car radio after losing a bet when the Mets beat the Dodgers. Also about gambling is the recent Uncut Gems (2019) with Adam Sandler needing a big game 7 performance from Kevin Garnett in it's final act.

In the movie "Gremlins", when the gremlins are getting drunk in the bar, there is a hockey game playing on the TV in the background. I tried to figure out who was playing. I even zoomed in on the picture.
I think one of the teams playing is the Toronto Maple Leafs.
I can't remember which movie this was, but there was a scene where a hockey game was on the TV. The game featured the Oshawa Generals and the Toronto St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario Hockey League. I want to say the movie was "Bon Cop Bad Cop", but I don't think it is.
Finally, this was in the recesses of my mind. I had to find out which show it was, though. I knew Ryan Belleville was on it. Show is called "Satisfaction".
At the bar, there is a hockey game on the TV. Again, I zoomed in to see if I could see who was playing. One team was the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, who are in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
This show's claim to fame was that former Toronto Maple Leaf Wendel Clark made an appearance.

But Creepshow is more than an anthology movie - it's one of the greatest horror movies of All-Time

Chief getting into the basketball game in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. "Mmm, Juicy Fruit." My favorite "sports" moment of that film is where Jack announces the baseball game while the tv remains off in the ward......one of the greatest scenes in film history to me.
