I find The Cable Guy really underrated.
I think a lot of people were put off by it because it was rather 'dark'.
What's become of Jim Carey? Has he been in anything lately?

Sonic the Hedgehog most recently, which was sort of a surprise hit. He also has a show on Showtime which seems like a weird dark comedy. |

Cable Guy is great, and yeah I think people were put off because they weren't prepared for 'creepy' Jim Carrey. He has a show that I haven't seen, not sure if it's any good.

At the end of Raising Arizona Nicholas Cage's character is dreaming of his 'son' when he's playing football.
In Star Chamber Holbrook, Douglas and their wives attend a Dodgers' baseball game against the visiting Braves. Intercut with the dialogue is footage of the actual game. Dusty Baker and Steve Sax batting against Phil Niekro.

Damn. I remember watching this scene and thinking it was one of the lamest and most annoying things I'd ever seen and that teenagers would not be fooled into thinking it was cool. Really had my finger on the pulse. |

I've probably seen a grand total of 5 minutes of this franchise and they are so unbelievably awful. The writing, the directing, the acting. Everything about them is terrible. They're so bad they can't be spoofed. My brain melts when I try to watch this shit.

In Stardom the opening credits are played over a women's hockey pregame skate. Average movie that made it's lead, Jessica Pare and her 2 assets, a more widely known actress.
