Not seen Heaven Help Us Vision Quest Just One of the Guys St. Elmo's Fire You might like Heaven Help Us. Although it's partly an "80s teen comedy", there's a lot more drama than you'd expect. The scenes in the classroom with the sadistic a-hole teacher get pretty intense. The romance is well done. The comedy is really funny too. It was directed by the guy who produced The Wonder Years. ...You might like Vision Quest as well. Not sure if you'd like Just One of the Guys, which is purely an 80s teen comedy, a reverse Tootsie, if you will. St. Elmo's Fire is hit-or-miss, the last of the brat pack movies. Be warned a lot of people hate it, but I liked it.

01. To Live and Die in L.A 02. After Hours 03. Fright Night 04. Year of the Dragon Sorry about bumping all your threads/topics, but I have not seen them before, and thought some of my favorite titles deserved a little boost, and at the same time, these threads/topcis gets quite addictive once started.

I picked two off your list: -- To Live and Die in L.A. -- After Hours
Other movies I liked that year were: -- Come and See (Elem Klimov) - one of the greatest war movies ever -- Brazil (Terry Gilliam) -- My Friend Ivan Lapshin (Aleksey German) -- Kiss of the Spider Woman (Hector Babenco) -- The Purple Rose of Cairo (Woody Allen) -- Tampopo (Jûzô Itami) -- Ran (Akira Kurosawa) -- A Room With a View (James Ivory) -- Vagabond (Agnes Varda) -- My Life as a Dog (Lasse Hallström)

1) WITNESS one of Harrison's all time BEST ! 2) Mask - deserves more attention than it gets. 3) Back to the Future - they should really have stopped at this one.
have seen several others on you list. Will mention Breakfast Club and St Elmo's as places to see future "stars" but as pictures (meh)
From others un-polled listing, also liked Purple Rose of Cairo. Clever and good.
These poll lists are fun.. keep 'em coming ! (puleeze, sir may we have some more ?)
