for fear of being infected? I still order my pizza but I have been staying away from Chinese food and such. Yep. Seems awfully risky. Obviously many people feel either they are at no risk. Or, they have no obligation to others.

I read that Corona virus is not food borne. But the people who handle your food can carry and transmit the virus.

It only works if you have contactless delivery. Otherwise you're coming in contact with order takers and those who deliver the food.

Yes. I am not the world's finest cook and it wouldn't be fair to expect my husband to do it all. Too bad my sister is too ill to prepare meals just now, because she's the best cook of the three of us, LOL. We try to work our restaurant visits (for take-out only; none of the local ones are open for on-site dining) into trips to the pharmacy or the grocery to cut down on the time we're actually out of our apartment complex.
We still manage to put together quite a few meals at home, though, and when we do eat restaurant food, we try to supplement it with fresh fruit and vegetables. In fact, as I type this, I'm snacking on red grapes--the seedless kind.

I read that Corona virus is not food borne. Soooo you would eat food someone prepared after they coughed in their hand? Far as I'm concerned I don't want anyone touching my food even if all they have is a sniffle.

I've ordered take out a couple times but not lately. Not because of fear of being infected but more of a fear of putting a strain on my toilet paper supply.

Most food can be microwaved. The virus can’t survive that.

Most food can be microwaved. The virus can’t survive that. And you can wipe down the containers with disinfectant.

Most food can be microwaved. The virus can’t survive that. That wouldn't work with salads.
