I totally agree here vodkie . I actually haven't seen this show since the 1980's when it was brand new ( and used to watch the cartoon show too ) . Now I'm looking forward to also ( good memories - good times ! ) .

I wonder if he's aged like the others stars who do Me-TV promos.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully it won't be on too early or too late. Definitely agree here fangirl1975 . I have been trying to check the schedule on the MeTV Web page but I'm unable to find when it's going to be on what day or time exactly ( yet MeTV advertises it as going to be on this channel ? ) . I'm hoping also that it will be on a reasonable time when it does finally air on that channel .

I wonder if he's aged like the others stars who do Me-TV promos. I think Melmacians usually retain their youthful complexion . Of course Alf has been on this planet for quite awhile now . I guess we will soon see if MeTV shows any most recent commercials of him .

When I feel like watching an episode, I usually pop it into the dvd around bedtime, and fall asleep while watching it. I truly like the show, but I've seen it so many times, I can always count on falling asleep while its on.

I do the same thing at bedtime on weeknights but with shows like " The Golden Girls " or " Frasier " on HALLMARK Channel .

Here also is an article about Alf merchandise that was very popular when the show was brand new too
Wow, I didn't know there was an Alf SEGA game. I had a lot of issues of the Alf comic books. My favorite was the issue where Willie's boss lets Willie use his deluxe skybox at a baseball game. Willie and Brian go and Alf sneaks in by hiding in their cooler. Of course he ate all the food and drinks in it!
Unfortunately, I stupidly got rid of all my Marvel Star comics when I got older.

MEtv seems like a really great channel. There's a few others like it that I flick on from time to time. The only thing that bothers me is how heavily they have to edit some of the old shows to make room for the extra 8 minutes of commercials that is needed in this day and age. But it's cool that they give new viewers a chance to check out these shows that they wouldn't have normally seen.
