MEtv seems like a really great channel. There's a few others like it that I flick on from time to time. The only thing that bothers me is how heavily they have to edit some of the old shows to make room for the extra 8 minutes of commercials that is needed in this day and age. But it's cool that they give new viewers a chance to check out these shows that they wouldn't have normally seen. I totally agree jayhn1111 what I also really like about this channel is that the end credits are shown in full and not put up as a " split screen effect " just to show more commercials ( IMPO - it's so unnecessary and ruins the shows true experience ) . MeTV is a definite plus for that compared to other channels like SyFy for instance .

I think it's important that other generations get to experience some of the more classic tv. We don't want all the older shows to be lost and forgotten. It's part of American history!

The show was fun for me when I was a kid but when I tried watching it as an adult I found it odd and boring. I'm not putting down the show. Alf is a unique character. But the show just wasn't the same for me now that I'm grown.
