Gotta be one of the expansion teams. I'm fairly certain the Rays retired Wade Boggs, the Rockies retired Todd Helton and the D-backs retired Randy Johnson.
So the Marlins.

I figured they'd retired Jose Fernandez's.

Interestingly the Marlins HAD retired a number, number 5 a few years back in honor of the old owner (who retired it for himself), I forget his name, I guess they unretired it.

I figured they'd retired Jose Fernandez's. I think they were planning on it but there may have been some backlash due to the circumstances and the other deaths involved. Xeliou66 would know better than I would.

Carl Barger. he was with Pittsburgh for a long time. He built the Marlins franchise but croaked before their first game. Must have unretired it for Logan Morrison. Well, he deserved it.

Sorry, but this is incorrect! The Marlins have retired number 42, which belonged to a player. Also, number 5 was apparently chosen because it belonged to Joe DiMaggio.

Played his last two seasons with them and the Marlins were going to pay him to go into the Hall as a marlin
