I don't know if we really need one anyway. Not every movie needs to have a prequel, sequel, etc. it sounded very enticing, imagine Nolan getting his hands on that with an actor like Tom Hardy could have potential. My issue is I really don't trust Romanek or Gazzara.

A prequel? I knew there were talks about a Dick Hallorann film, is this the same thing?
But yeah, once Doctor Sleep bombed it was clear that wasn’t happening. Shame. I really liked Doctor Sleep.

The book was so good. The movie was terrible. The acting was fine, but the movie itself was really bad. And we certainly do not need a prequel to The Shining.
