I'm talking about Daredevil, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and hell even Iron Fist.
I miss the fuck out of them and have been giving them all re watches lately (my fav season being Season 2 of Daredevil featuring the Punisher. Just awesome). I liked how they weren't watered down at all either.

I miss them too. I was hoping for a season 2 of The Defenders, but I guess that's not going to happen.

I wasn't overly fussed with the others but Daredevil in particular was a great show and one of the best things to come out of the MCU so that's unfortunate.

I miss DD and JJ the most, it'll be hard to see anyone else in those title roles going forward. There's already a rumor Charlie Cox is in the next Spider-Man movie, I hope it's true.

They were pure garbage. I guess they were kinda OK in a "so bad, it's good" kind of way, but I'm not sad to see them go.
Jon Bernthal is the worst actor of all time!

I still haven’t watched The Punisher or the second season of Iron Fist.
It’s a shame that there won’t be more Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

Iron Fist season 2 was an improvement over the first, but then, it had to be. Still not great television. I personally didn't like the Punisher series that much, but it gets high praise for the most part so you should check it out if you like the Marvel stuff in general.

I did like shows like Daredevil, but I’ve never been especially bothered by their cancellations. The shows were mostly interesting in the sense that they were able to go darker and bloodier than what the movies were allowed to do, but I’m not much of a TV person in general. Also, I never cared for the idea that the shows were supposed to take place in the MCU. That always just seemed like it was done so they could bank off the brand. Kevin Feige had no involvement with those shows, and any connections they had to the movies were one sided at best.

Nothing came from any of the shows except for Jarvis. Hell, I'm willing to allow that Agents of SHIELD spun out of that new 2012 timeline from Avengers Endgame.

Those shows were a hit and miss thing for me. So far the only one I really loved was Daredevil, and I was just a bit meh with S2. Liked JJ S1, was ok with S2, couldn't even finish S3. Tried to power through Ironfist S1 (was a bit of a chore) and couldn't finish S2. Luke Cage was nice but was ridiculously slow. Punisher was a bit all over the place, with some episodes great while others seemed like fillers. And in a show that only has 10 or less episodes, one wonders why you even need fillers.
In the end, I think the idea behind those shows were great but needed better handling, better quality control, and a better long-term plan.
The biggest issue for me is that for shows that only had about 10 episodes each, there were a bunch of episodes where nothing happened. You'd think that they'd be more condensed and high-octane given the short serieses. Compared to something like AoS and you can see how lacking the Netlix shows were in terms of story. So what happened was you had some episodes that were great and a lot of other episodes that were completely wasted. Even Daredevil suffered from this.
They also had a habit of having two main storylines running at the same time that didn't have much to do with each other. Like how Punisher's and Elektra's storylines didn't exactly interconnect in DD S2. Or how in Punishers S2, you had Jigsaw's and the Preacher's storylines not connecting.

Daredevil was excellent. Everything else was watchable with some highs and lows, but always somewhat of a chore to get through. I finished everything but Luke Cage season 2 and Punisher season 2. Not in a hurry to get to them.

Appreciate the responses folks! I will admit that the shows weren't perfect and some of them were definitely "all over the place" in terms of different storylines going on but overall I conclude they were all decent to good efforts in terms of keeping my ass entertained for the most part.
Daredevil was definitely the top choice for me. Loved the actor that played Kingpin, loved Daredevil's interactions with the Punisher, and that INSANE one take riot/fight in the prison scene (that was wild as hell!)

I miss them. They are the reason we have all these new, gritty superhero TV shows that all promises to be more serious and violent than the ones that came before.
Netflix and Loeb deserve a credit for what they accomplished.

Daredevil and the Punisher were particularly good. I could leave the rest tho. I enjoyed JJ and Iron Fist enough while watching them but when it came time to invest in the season seasons I just didn't care and then couldn't really get into the Defenders.
