Who exactly named her Rey anyway ? Her parents I presume. Maybe it was a ploy to hide her, as no one would guess that a girl called ‘Rey’ could be a Palpatine. |

Rey is a boys name so i think its a stupid name to give the character, they should have given her either a girls name or a unisex name.
Also Rey is an ugly name.
