my father used to say that at one point in time he was bachan's biggest competitor.
surprisingly, this is not that big news on most websites.
btw, i have only seen one of his films as a hero. that was DAYAAVAN i think, NAYAGAN's remake.

It is already a big news on twitter and fb and celebrities have started giving their condolences. I saw many of his films, dayavaan, amar akbar anthony, farishtay, the burning train, eena meena deeka and some more. I always liked his acting. Karan johar cancelled his baahubali 2 movie premiere today in mumbai as mark of respect for vinod khanna.

As a mark of respect to Khanna and vikade, we should watch Amar Akbar Anthony tonight. I liked Khanna better in his late 80s stint. RIP.

Bombay 405 miles movie was showing at a channel starring vinod khanna and shatrughan, i just watched the full movie and it was a complete masala entertainer. He left the industry when he was doing good in bollywood and went to some oshu ashram for 5 years. I think he should not have done that.

Yeah man, even I got that movie. I think it can be remade. A remake. Ranveer singh comes to my mind for khanna's role man. Shatru over acted in that movie so varun can play his part

what a great actor he was. The greatest in my view that we produced. Had he not been to Osho, he would have soundly beaten AB, remember he got paid 1 crore higher than AB for a Prakash Mehra movie as a signing condition. Unbelievable great. I repeat his performance in Gulzar's debut Mere Apne was the greatest performance in Hindi cinema barring none. I need to rewatch Achanak in the light of Rustom now.
