WWE HOF doesn't seem as exclusive as we think. The annual lists of inductees is usually 1-2 overwhelming headliners, with the rest guys & gals who managed to be on tv & ppv more often than not. Mr. T is in their HOF. Deservingly so - T wrestled in the first 'Mania and had a part in taking wrestling mainstream with Cyndi Lauper
I believe I read T and Hogan hosted Saturday Night Live the night before 'Mania I.
I know, it just feels like way too many Phil Rizzuto's in their HOF. Would Mr. T ever be a headliner inductee? Extremely doubtful. They hide these guys in behind the Hogan's & Hart's as if they're peers.

This wrestling HOF discussion is like discussing which fish Aquaman had deeper conversations with, or which Transformer is the coolest.

Too many Average Joe's are in.
Koko B. Ware and Rikishi are in the HOF - then why not Vader, Bam Bam and Bundy?

Don't get me started on Bam Bam. I agree with Bret that he's arguably the best & most underrated big man ever (not giants like Andre). Running, flipping, diving... Bam Bam was doing a lot of that.

A lot of these wrestlers end up losing everything, don't know how to cope when they get older - when they can no longer perform and nobody wants them.
RIP.

I see a lot of ppl complaining that Hogan because never took major bumps can still think & speak as normal (for him) as ever. Meanwhile, the rest of his entire body is basically broken down Robocop. Sure he lived longer, but his quality of life is basically living in a 200yr old body.

This shoot is great - listen to Nash shoot on Hogan - talks bout what you're talking about - his body being a mess
Pac is obviously stoned here - think they're both lit too - Nash likes his wine -

He's got some great shoots out there about the ups and downs his life has been - all the highs and lows - pretty much being in the gutter at rock bottom after living that life style for years hooked on drugs and partying all the time and being a complete and total trainwreck of a human being and having to pull himself out of it.

Ridiculous. What he did was over 100 years ago; even some murderers get paroled. He pissed all over the game for $5000. Like Bill James says, let him. After you let in every honest ballplayers.
The only injustice is that those greedy pricks never went to jail
If you look at some of the guys in the HOF, they all have their flaws so give Joe a break is all Im saying.

What - are we all Angels here - we've never broken the rule book at work which have could lead to disciplinary action
I love the people who act like these Halls are pretty much the Temple of God - what it comes down to is the MLB, NFL, hockey and hoops Halls = the WWE Wrestling Hall of Fame - it should be reserved for the elite of the elite and sometimes past transgressions need to be overlooked.

i.e. Bonds, Sosa, McGwire, Rocket - what an epic display they put on - I was glued to the TV
some argue 'Well - they broke the rules' -
i argue - even without their performances being enhanced - they still would have made the Halls based on their natural abilities.
they have suffered long enough
let them in - and one can argue they saved baseball after '94 - as MLB conveniently looked the other way - and then in turn punished them.
the punishment has gone on long enough.

Baseball was lucky that the Black Sox didn't ruin the sport. There was a long period of decline for professional baseball after the Louisville Grays tanked the pennant race in 1877. If it hadn't been for Babe Ruth... Ty Cobb racism, Rogers Hornsby asshole antics, Grover Cleveland Alexander's drunkenness didn't hurt the game on a national level. Joe Jackson's greed did.

Yes - and as you and I have stated - there's too many in there.
It has to be thinned out - to the elite of the elite.
Only the elite should be considered for the Hall.
Who has ever been thrown out of a HOF?
In case he hasn't already been mentioned, Alan Eagleson was thrown out of the Hockey HOF.
From Wiki:
In 1989, Alan Eagleson, a longtime executive director of the National Hockey League Players Association, was inducted as a builder. He resigned nine years later from the Hall after pleading guilty to mail fraud and embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the National Hockey League Players' Association pension funds.[71] His resignation came six days before a vote was scheduled to determine if he should be expelled from the Hall.[72] Originally, the Hall of Fame was not going to become involved in the issue, but was forced to act when dozens of inductees, including Bobby Orr, Ted Lindsay and Brad Park, campaigned for Eagleson's expulsion, even threatening to renounce their membership if he was not removed. He became the first member of a sports hall of fame in North America to resign.[73]
