The first half is a very mild yay and the second half is a big nay. If the second half was just a mild nay then I would have voted meh. The "Jaws in love" moment makes me want to vomit. It is the single most idiotic and out of place moment in the entire franchise imo.

I have only seen The Spy Who Love Me and Moonraker once. I don't even remember the scene you are talking about, nor do I care. I am not saying that in a way that is meant to be rude, but as a matter of fact.

Enthusiastic Nay! IMO, the John Barry score is the the only redeemable feature of this stinker.

Haha, I love this one. It totally gels with the Star Wars/Atari generation. The ruthless kill of the girl by the dogs is pretty rough, but I love the Venice scenes and it's just cool thinking about an armada of Space Shuttles heading out to space station. It screams late 1970s.

It's silly, stupid, brain-dead... and an insult to the James Bond character.

Moonraker is funny the most silliest and most darkest Bond film ever seeing an innocent woman mauled to death by rabid dogs while running for her life. A very bipolar crazy Bond film. Not even Daniel Craig who most edgelord fans of his on this thread who have a hard on for him ever had a grim moment like that in his Bond films.

I voted meh. I did enjoy it back as a kid. It lost a lot of its charm on a later rewatch though, Corinne Clery was quite hot, but the whole outer space and Jaws in love stuff was just too much even for the psychedelic 70s.
But since I've been in the mood to rewatch some Bond movies recently I may take another look at this one too. This and Dr. No are the only Bond movies I don't own on dvd or blu ray.
