I don't even remember the last time Orpheus was on. The flashbacks last week with Marlena...when did that happen??? What did he do to Jennifer? I wasn't watching in 1987 during his initial reign of terror and I have no recollection of his return or the events surrounding it a few years back.

Monday April 20
Steve makes a surprising decision regarding Kayla.
Rafe is thrown when Zoey declares she’s suing for custody of David.
Orpheus pays Marlena a visit.
Jack comforts Jennifer, who’s unnerved about Orpheus being free.

Tuesday April 21
Kate applies for a job with Abe.
Hope and Steve commiserate together.
Gabi goes up against Chad.
Kayla tells Justin her decision about their future.

Wednesday April 22
Brady, Kristen, Eric, and Nicole wait for word on Sarah and the baby.
Chad and Abigail take opposite sides over Kristen and Sarah’s situation.
Victor berates Xander for allowing the truth to come out.
Gabi lobbies for the CEO position at DiMera.
Li Shin, son of Mr. Shin, will arrive in Salem when Remington Hoffman appears on Days of our Lives.

Thursday April 23
Kristen attacks Victor! With a knife…
Gabi is stunned when she sees a familiar face…
Li Shin makes a decision about Chad’s fate at DiMera.
Sarah hides out in Paris with Rachel.

Friday April 24
Ben has a shocking encounter.
Chad and Abigail celebrate their victory.
Victor is rushed to the hospital!
Xander pleads with Sarah on the phone, insisting he can help her.

It was just a couple of years back; I had to look it up to refresh my memory, it was 2016. Xander, Orpheus and Clyde were all in prison together and staged a joint breakout, with the help of Eduardo Hernandez and proceeded to terrorize Salem. They kidnapped Joey at one point, Cyde shot Abe by accident, while aiming for Aiden. Clyde tried kidnapping Thomas to give "back" to Ben (who was still in jail at the time, for the necktie murders).
Deimos helped fake Xander's death and Clyde got arrested.
Orpheus planted bombs around the city, which he detonated (I want to say it caused a blackout, but I might be conflating it with another story).

Orpheus was apprehended, faked his death/suicide by drinking a drug that supposedly would have killed him; only to immediately come back, kidnap Marlena and Kayla, nail them each inside a coffin and set the coffins on fire. Steve and John arrived just in time to save them and Orpheus was shot and supposedly killed.

Thanks for the recap. I went back to read some stuff and I completely blanked on all of it. I don't remember any of it!

I also don't remember when Chad was brainwashed with la Familia before either so I don't know.

Weepy Marlena is annoying for sure. I don't remember her being so weak. I can't take John and his Clint Eastwood acting anymore. The one eye half closed and stuff. Ugh. I just FF their scenes.

Zoey...at first I thought she would be a good addition, now I am not so sure.

It was right when Ben was found out as the necktie killer and they determined that Thomas was Chad's son, rather than Ben's. Andre had Chad kidnapped and brainwashed; and Chad harshly dumped Abby and started making time with Belle (who wasn't with Shawn at the time). Andre had sent Chad on a mission to seduce Belle in order to find out where Sami was and what happened to the money she had stolen from Stefano; some of which Sami had given to Belle. I think Chad and Belle nearly slept together, but was stopped short. He wasn't quite as robotic about it then. Eventually Abigail did the whole "I love you, this is your son" shtick and snapped him out of it; and I think he also went to Marlena to help him be deprogrammed.
