I have ridden in small planes ( a few times) -- does that count Once you are up there, it is almost as stable as big planes -- but if you are passing mountainous areas, it can be a little frightening as there is a bit more turbulence. No idea why that happens.

When I was around five years old or so, the U.S. Military had a helicopter show and my father let my cousin and I sit inside of one while it was running.
Unfortunately, that's as close as I came to actually flying in my life. When the show was over, the pilot flew away. We saw it takeoff at a distance. Pretty cool. I wish I knew what kind of a helicopter it was (Black Hawk maybe? It had an entrance on both sides from what I can recall.)

Yes.
A friend of mine has his own helicopter which he takes paying passengers on sightseeing tours with. I went up once to have a bit of a fly around, was good fun.

Sadly no. In fact, I've only been in the air twice...to get to Tasmania, and to get back to Victoria. Both times via a normal Qantas aeroplane. I haven't even been on a rollercoaster.
