1) Have you ever left a window or sunroof open in your car. And it rained?
2) Have you ever bought a SUV and left the tape on the back windshield wiper?
3) Do you ever use your sideview mirrors while driving?

If you never use your sideview mirrors while driving, how do you check your blindspots?

3) Do you ever use your sideview mirrors while driving? What idiot would not use their side view mirrors? Yikes, get off the road before you kill somebody! Believe it or not, many people never use their sideview mirrors. Just look at the cars you pass on the road. Their mirrors aren't facing the road. (All you need to do is get in their blindspot, you should be able to see the driver.) Even more unbelievable, many people never use their rearview mirrors. Especially in SUVs. Although they will use rearview cameras.

I mean there are times when I'm going 60 and want to change lanes, and start to jerk the wheel but check my side mirror blind spot, and I avoided a demolition. I drove a truck for twenty years. One ton bobtail --- a pickup with a box on the back --- no rearview mirror. That's where I really learned how to use sideview mirrors.

My last car had a sunroof. I rarely opened it to wind, fog or rain. But, I did pull the shield back, to let the light come through. That became useful in recognizing when it was time to have a "touch-up," for my hair roots. The sun shines down on your head, and you check the rear-view mirror. A moment of truth! ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/xoguoupax/sword.gif) I've never had a vehicle with a rear window wiper. Always use the side mirrors.
